I am Frido Slag, my position is Structural Engineer and I have been working at NEDCON for about 3 years now. I am working in the Realization department where we execute projects worldwide together with our System Integrators. Within NEDCON we have a lot of experience in structural engineering, I can learn a lot from this. Everything is getting bigger and more complicated, and I like that challenge!

What does the department you work in look like?
This is quite varied, from young to old. But also very diverse from colleagues with an international background to colleagues from our own region, the Achterhoek.

What work aspects that NEDCON offers are important to you?
That is a piece of flexibility that I get here and a lot of work experience from which I can learn a lot.

What is a typical NEDCON employee?
They are often driven individuals who want to achieve something but who are also usually relaxed.

What gives you the most satisfaction in your work at NEDCON?
That is when a project is completed, it is all built and the customer is satisfied.

What is your fondest memory of your time at NEDCON to date?
In my relatively short time at NEDCON I have seen a lot of things going on. The best part are the working visits where you can actually see what is being built.

Why would you recommend someone to start working at NEDCON?
At first glance, working on racking seems quite "basic" that is straightforward, but soon you find out that in reality it is very different. All the developments, and always trying to optimize it, gives much diversity to your working activities. Also, within the organization there is enough space and opportunity to develop yourself in different areas.

What I like most about working at NEDCON is...
The big projects we realize. But of course also the fun parties that are organized!
