Shear stiffness of upright frames from thin gauged cold formed steel can be determined by tests according to EN 15512. We participated in a FOSTA research program at the TU Dortmund for an analytical approach to determine the frame shear stiffness. The resulting and extensive report needs to be studied in detail. From this report, our calculation needs to be determined and a design tool for structural engineers needs to be realized.
You will be supported by the Design Principles & Prototyping team, which is part of the Products & Technology department that in total consists of 20 colleagues. You will be in contact with all relevant experts within the company.
