What storage systems does a warehouse need to store, buffer and ship products as efficiently as possible? How can the design reduce turnaround times and keep costs manageable? What adjustments are necessary to automate a distribution center? These are all kinds of challenges that our Engineering department deals with. In the position of Project Engineer, you ensure that an optimal technical design is realized. You guarantee that the detailing of a static storage construction is delivered according to customer’s specifications, and within budget, time and a correct work sequence.
After the transfer of a recently acquired project by our sales department(s) to the project team, you will plan and execute the engineering process together with the project team. The first phase is making a design and coordinating the process with our customer, other externally involved parties and various internal disciplines. The ultimate goal is a design approved by the customer. You are then responsible for the technical elaboration of this design and you give guidance, depending on the size and complexity, to one or more Engineers within your team. You will also ensure a correct information transfer to the subsequent disciplines such as Purchasing, Production and Installation. Additionally you will support the Installation discipline during the implementation phase.

Interview by phone

Second job interview
Are we and you enthusiastic? Then we would like to invite you for a second interview. In this conversation we discuss in detail the content of the position, the team and the department. Depending on your position, we ask you to give a presentation or we use an assessment.
Contract proposal
We know enough after two job interviews. We have a good picture of you and hopefully you are excited to work at NEDCON. We offer you a one-year contract with the intention to convert this into permanent employment.
