NEDCON is a global player in the field of storage systems. From manual warehouse racking and semi-automatic systems to an integrated approach for complex and automated warehouse equipment. We design, manufacture, supervise, assemble and install these systems all over the world. And we have been doing so since 1969.
With a team of more than 500 colleagues, spread over three locations in the Netherlands, the United States and the Czech Republic, we install impressive projects around the world that are getting bigger and therefore more complex. Your job
As a Structural Engineer, you design steel structures for storage systems according to various European and North American standards. You will design complex and big structures, analyze various types of systems and work with different materials and stabilization methods.
You work on several projects simultaneously and stay involved throughout the duration. So your work is very varied. You are not only busy making calculations, but also coordinate your work with the draftsmen, interact with colleagues and external parties and maintain contact with clients.
- You can justify the choices you make in the design phase to both clients and controlling authorities.
- During the project phase, we check the choices made during the proposal phase at a detailed level.
Your department
You will work in the System Integrators department, which is responsible for the realization of automated storage systems. We develop these systems together with a logistics partner. They focus on robotization and automation, while we take care of the steel construction part.
You work in a team of 6 colleagues, in which everyone works on his or her own projects. So you work independently, but of course there is always room to brainstorm with each other.
