What does the job entail?
After the transfer of a recently acquired project by our sales department(s) to the project team, you will plan and execute the engineering process together with the project team. The first phase is making a design and coordinating the process with our customer, other externally involved parties and various internal disciplines. The ultimate goal is a design approved by the customer. You are then responsible for the technical elaboration of this design and you give guidance, depending on the size and complexity, to one or more Engineers within your team. You will also ensure a correct information transfer to the subsequent disciplines such as Purchasing, Production and Installation. Additionally you will support the Installation discipline during the implementation phase.
Your core tasks are:
- Attending information transfer meetings
- Making approval drawings based on the delivery order, according to CDM and DRA, in connection with safe installation methods
- Cross-checking of work and development of other Engineers
- Intensive collaboration with the (Technical) Project Manager
- Analyze the design in connection with optimization and savings
- Providing transfer of information to other disciplines. This concerns production drawings, material specifications, installation drawings and explanations
- Aftercare of the disciplines Purchasing, Production and Installation in case of questions after the technical elaboration. Also during installation of the project

- Completed an education in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in a similar position and / or work environment
- An excellent command of the English language, in addition to Dutch. German is an advantage
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, SAP and MS Office to process information correctly
- Knowledge of Creo Parametric is an advantage
