Interview by phone

First & second interview

During the first meeting, we can show you NEDCON and we can get to know each other. We will discuss the competences you need for the job. Are we and you enthusiastic? Then we would like to invite you for a second interview. In this conversation we discuss in detail the content of the position, the team and the department.

Contract proposal

We know enough after two job interviews. We have a good picture of you and hopefully you are excited to work at NEDCON. We offer you a one-year contract with the intention to convert this into permanent employment.

This is what you will do

As a Financial Controller, you’ll take ownership of a segment of our financial reporting and perform control tasks. You’ll develop into an all-round SAP key user and act as a sparring partner for our international finance teams. You’ll safeguard internal control systems and actively contribute to continuously improving our financial processes.

Your key responsibilities:

Co-responsible for various internal management reports
Supporting our international branches with periodic reporting, focusing on control and validation
Overseeing risk management and internal control procedures
Initiating and leading improvement projects in financial processes
Becoming a key SAP user in the transition to S/4HANA
Contributing to the digitalization of our financial reporting and helping shape a modern BI platform for the future of data analytics

This is you

You have strong analytical skills and are quick to understand complex processes. You’re detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture. With your broad perspective, you easily connect the dots between departments and processes. You’re stress-resistant and maintain oversight, even when deadlines are tight. You’re also socially adept and thrive in an international setting, effortlessly engaging with colleagues from various cultural backgrounds.

Your profile:

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, Controlling or Accountancy
At least 3 years of relevant work experience
Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written (German is a plus)
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Basic knowledge of SAP
Experience with Power BI is a plus
