Interview by phone

First & second interview

During the first meeting, we can show you NEDCON and we can get to know each other. We will discuss the competences you need for the job. Are we and you enthusiastic? Then we would like to invite you for a second interview. In this conversation we discuss in detail the content of the position, the team and the department.

Contract proposal

We know enough after two job interviews. We have a good picture of you and hopefully you are excited to work at NEDCON. We offer you a one-year contract with the intention to convert this into permanent employment.

This is what you will do

As an Account Manager at NEDCON, you will be the primary point of contact for your clients. You will be responsible for achieving business and sales plans, maintaining relationships, and proactively responding to customer needs. You will ensure NEDCON is involved in new projects and successfully translate commercial and technical challenges into concrete solutions.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Managing relationships with system integrators, Key Accounts, and other (potential) clients.
  • Presenting solutions and negotiating pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Contributing to the development and execution of sales and business plans.
  • Monitoring and responding to market developments and competitor insights.
  • Reviewing RFQs, evaluating risks, and identifying cost-effective alternatives in coordination with colleagues.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate submission of quotations.
  • Recording and tracking project data in Salesforce.

Who you are

You are a results-driven networker who spots and seizes opportunities. You easily navigate between commercial and technical topics and persuade others with your knowledge and enthusiasm. With your strong communication and negotiation skills, you build and maintain lasting relationships. You think analytically, act proactively, and know how to advise and guide others when needed.

You also bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), preferably in a commercial or technical field.
  • Experience in B2B account management, ideally in a project-based environment.
  • Technical insight and affinity (mechanical or civil engineering is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Dutch, English, and German.
  • Experience creating and delivering presentations and workshops.
  • A valid driver’s license (Category B).
