The Golden Helmet has been awarded again! Every year we award the Golden Helmet to a colleague who has dedicated themselves to Health & Safety. This time, the Golden Helmet was presented by Isabel Lamplmayr, Health & Safety Director of Metal Forming.
And the winner is: Erik Lansink!
A century of dedication
For 25 years, Erik has been a part of NEDCON. A quarter of a century of dedication, hard work and loyalty. But what truly sets Erik apart is his unwavering commitment to the health and safety of every single colleague at NEDCON. His message is always clear: “Nothing is more important than going home safe and healthy.”
Erik continuously looks for ways to improve your working conditions. Whether it’s pushing for better equipment, safer procedures or just checking in with a colleague. What particularly distinguishes him is his human and honest nature. He always has an open ear for concerns, worries and suggestions.
When Erik was awarded the Golden Helmet, he immediately thanked all his colleagues. According to him, it might be more recognition than he deserves, because as Erik himself said: “We do this together.” And that says a lot about who he is. For Erik, it’s never about personal recognition, but always about continuing to take care of one another. And that’s exactly why he truly deserves the Golden Helmet.
