In the position of Sales Application Designer, you are responsible for the development, management and maintenance of the price database and price calculation tools. In the coming years the current price calculation tooling (currently Excel) will be converted to a new platform. You will conduct research and advise on the appropriate platform.
You will work in the Product Management & Development team, which is part of the Products & Technology department consisting of 20+ colleagues who, among other things, manage the product groups and software applications for our systems. In cooperation with our three sales departments you will work on the further development of the calculation tooling. This calculation tooling is used in a large proportion of our (international) projects, and the efficient operation of this tooling is therefore of great importance to NEDCON!
You also have an active role in maintaining the price database. You are always in close contact with colleagues from the sales teams; this way you get information about improvements and the needs of colleagues regarding the database and calculation tools.
