In the logistic sector automatized pick and place operations become more and more the standard. Nedcon has provided different customers in the past with several different types of configurations. System integrators have combined automatic systems with the systems of Nedcon. There are combinations of Nedcon systems and robots that have the tendency to vibrate.
Vibrations of the racking systems might course stored products to move out of position. When this position shift occurs the automatic crane might not be able to locate the product at the last known position, resulting in an error that needs to be manually solved. This cause down-time in the warehouse which will result in loss of profit.
In 2017 a model has been developed, to study the design parameters that influence these vibrations. This model was simplistic and gave reasonable results but did not succeeded to correctly predict displacements of adjacent stored products. The next step is to add additional layers of complexity to this model so that it includes more effects and becomes a closer match to reality.
The project will (for example) consists of the following tasks;
You will be assisted by a support group. The support group consists of representatives of disciplines like Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Production and the Installation department.

We know enough after two job interviews. We have a good picture of you and hopefully you are excited to work at NEDCON. We offer you a one-year contract with the intention to convert this into permanent employment.
