NEDCON
NEDCON designs, produces and builds storage racks. Worldwide. Since 2004, NEDCON has been an independent part of the international steel group voestalpine. The NEDCON head office is located in Doetinchem. In addition, we have our own production location in Pardubice (Czech Republic) and there are NEDCON branches in various European countries and the United States. We also offer our products through a resellers network.
NEDCON has taken major steps in digitization in recent years. One of the areas where NEDCON still wants to take steps and sees potential is in the field of installation. The process from tendering, installation to handover and evaluation.
Various activities pass by in this process flow, such as: Purchasing / tendering, logistics processes, sharing information & documentation, quality, health & safety, change processes, etc.
In the desired situation, we have a platform in which internal and external parties work together within the installation process. Digital tendering, sharing and communicating knowledge and information. Manual actions are minimized and we have real-time insight into the progress on site. Risks are identified at an early stage and we have full insight and control over the change process.
What are you going to do?
You will investigate how we can optimize the installation process flow by digitizing. As the end result, we expect an advisory report on how NEDCON will proceed within the installation process in the future. This report contains concrete recommendations/implementation steps with which NEDCON can take follow-up steps in the further improvement and digitization of its processes.

Interview by phone

We ask these questions to clarify the expectations from both sides.
First job interview
During the first meeting, we can show you NEDCON and we can get to know each other. We will discuss the competences you need for the job. For us, it is important that you fit with NEDCON and that we are the desired employer for you.
Second job interview
Are we and you enthusiastic? Then we would like to invite you for a second interview. In this conversation we discuss in detail the content of the position, the team and the department. Depending on your position, we ask you to give a presentation or we use an assessment.
Contract proposal
We know enough after two job interviews. We have a good picture of you and hopefully you are excited to work at NEDCON. We offer you a one-year contract with the intention to convert this into permanent employment.
