Our day-to-day business is making sure we can execute our racking projects globally. We have a long lasting strong base of suppliers with good relations in the purchase team. In order to align the different purchase teams with the changing business demands we are looking for a Global Purchase Manager.
There is always a pressure between customer/business demand and what suppliers can deliver. You have to understand the business focus and ensure we have a supplier pool in place that gives the best long term solutions for NEDCON. They should deliver for the key commodities for the right price conform the right product specification on time.
As strategic purchaser you drive as functional lead the local purchase teams to support them with purchase strategy and supplier selection. Local teams will keep their authority and supplier network for local purchase power. You have the overview of the commodities and suppliers and secure harmonizing of the processes. You also are a linking pin to set up purchase network in US with local purchase support.

Interview by phone
We have arranged a suitable time by mail. During this telephone conversation we can already get acquainted and you can ask us questions. We would like to get to know you better and that is why we also have a number of questions for you such as your expectations of NEDCON, the reason you applied at NEDCON and your salary indication. We ask these questions to clarify the expectations from both sides.
First job interview
During the first meeting, we can show you NEDCON and we can get to know each other. We will discuss the competences you need for the job. For us, it is important that you fit with NEDCON and that we are the desired employer for you.
Second job interview
Are we and you enthusiastic? Then we would like to invite you for a second interview. In this conversation we discuss in detail the content of the position, the team and the department. Depending on your position, we ask you to give a presentation or we use an assessment.
Contract proposal
We know enough after two job interviews. We have a good picture of you and hopefully you are excited to work at NEDCON. We offer you a one-year contract with the intention to convert this into permanent employment.
