Application Manager 3D (CAD + PDM/PLM)

The Application Manager 3D is responsible for the implementation and management of 2 CAD applications (CREO & Windchill). Both applications are new to NEDCON. Based on knowledge expertise of both applications, the Application Manager will participate in the project team that takes care of the implementation of these applications.

You will work in the Applications & Processes department. This department is part of the Product & Technology unit. The Product & Technology unit consists of 20+ colleagues who, among other things, manage the product groups and software applications for our systems.

What does the job entail?

As an Application Manager you have an important coordinating, executive and advisory role regarding to the design, processes, implementation and knowledge transfer. You are the point of contact for the key users (CREO & Windchill), software suppliers and management. In addition, you also ensure coordination and sharing of knowledge with (international) sister organizations, which apply the same applications.

Your core tasks:

  • Keep an overview of an efficient and consistent data structure in the application in coordination with SAP and other linked systems such as sales tooling.
  • Coordinating the Windchill Authorization Profiles.
  • Ensure that the design of the applications remains in line with the engineering method.
  • Develop and set up user interfaces.

Who are we looking for?

You have experience with parametric engineering and have up-to-date PTC Creo & Windchill knowledge. In addition, you have affinity with automation & application development. Experience with product development processes in a Configure-To-Order environment is an advantage.

In addition, you have:

  • A completed bachelor's degree in the field of (Technical) Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering or related.
  • At least 5 years of experience with PTC CREO parametric and build complex parametric 3D models.
  • Good knowledge of the English language in word and writing.
  • You are result-oriented, stress-resistant, can work independently and are able to draw up clear analyses and communicate clearly about this.
