At NEDCON, our talent comes from all over the world. The Italian Tommaso also decided to take the step last year and he moved from Canada to the Netherlands. What was it like for him to get acquainted with a new company in a new country? Now that he has been part of our team as a structural engineer for over a year, Tommaso tells about his experiences:
Introduction to the Netherlands and NEDCON
“The choice to move to the Netherlands was quite easy: I had the chance to visit the country some years ago and friends told me about their great work and life experience here and about the opportunities that you can find. Then, I talked with some of my current colleagues, who explained what working at NEDCON is like.
After one year, I can say that I made the right choice, and that my experience is even better than I was expecting!”

Team spirit
“Another reason I enjoy this company is that I feel part of the NEDCON team: this is thanks to my colleagues, who are helping me to arrange my life here, and to the activities throughout the year. For example the anniversaries, or the Christmas dinner, without forgetting the team outings!
Moreover, NEDCON is helping me with language training. So I will be later on able to write in Dutch and my colleagues will enjoy my Dutch-Tuscan style accent.”
