Twice a year NEDCON presents the Golden Helmet award to an employee who has done an excellent job in the field of Health & Safety. Maarten Polman, employee Back Office Project and Installation Management, has won the award with his efforts!
Maarten has ensured that all health and safety documents meet the latest European standards. This includes BID and CON documentation and MST. In addition, he fulfilled a coordinating role in workshops with Howard Parkin and seven other Site Supervisors, which resulted in a number of checklists and manuals to start up a construction site in a safe and efficient way. He also visited sites to check practical use. Reason enough for Health & Safety Manager René van 't Hof to hand over the October 2020 award to Maarten Polman.

Why are we presenting this award?
NEDCON hands over the Golden Helmet to create even more awareness and involvement in the field of health and safety. Both at our offices and certainly on our worldwide construction sites. We have posters on our construction sites to communicate the importance of working safely on a daily basis. Together we ensure a healthy and safe working environment and that is our highest priority!
